That takes the surprise out of it.<\/p>\n<p>From west to east:<br \/>\n* Peas, plus a not-insignificant amount of volunteer lettuce, plus the one lettuce plant that inexplicably survived the winter and should be honored by never being eaten<br \/>\n* Chard (probably)<br \/>\n* A big hole courtesy of a squirrel, or possibly a <a href=\"http:\/\/flashfictiononline.com\/main\/article\/i-am-graalnak-of-the-vroon-empire-destroyer-of-galaxies-supreme-overlord-of-the-planet-earth-ask-me-anything\/\">Vroon<\/a><br \/>\n* The remnants of the radishes<br \/>\n* Spinach (probably)<br \/>\n* Lettuce (the actual lettuce patch, not the volunteers)<br \/>\n* Plus more peas and probably chard on the north side of the bed<\/p>\n<p>Also including innumerable violets and tiny coneflowers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My plants are big enough to remind me what I planted where!
