It still comes down to learning how to write better, and keeping on writing.<\/p>\n<p>Via , <a href=\"http:\/\/notesfromthegeekshow.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/ten-things.html\">Hal Duncan&#8217;s response to the 10 things learned about writing<\/a> meme.<br \/>\nI think he wins the meme.<\/p>\n<p>I was going to do that meme, but I&#8217;m not up to 10 things yet.  So far:<br \/>\n1. Books are written by people, and not just dead ones.<br \/>\n2. Drafts don&#8217;t need to be anywhere near perfect the first time, nor do they need outlines or calendars or maps or anything else.<br \/>\n3.
